Roman Republic. P. Licinius Nerva, as moneyer AR (Silver) denarius. Mint of Rome; struck 113-112 BC. XF; very popular type with a complete Roman Republican electoral scene. Struck from dies of fine style and with cerulean, violet, and golden toning. Exceptional in hand.

Design: Helmeted bust of Roma left, holding spear over shoulder and shield; ROMA to right / Voting scene; one citizen (on right) casts his ballot into a cista, while a second citizen (on left) receives his ballot from an attendant (center); moneyer name above
