Keeping it simple

Our refund and returns policy is straightforward: a lifetime guarantee of authenticity that allows you to return a coin for a full refund, and a 30-day period after your purchase during which you may return the coin for any other reason.

Authenticity-Related Returns

Miller Ancients guarantees the originality and authenticity of all items sold. If a coin is found not to be authentic by NGC (the premier/standard grading company for ancient coins), at any point in the future, you will get 100% of your money back, including any payment fees you may have incurred and shipping costs.

Miller Ancients will also refund buyers for coins not encapsulated by NGC and deemed as "No Decision," or "Tooled," or "Altered Surfaces," if the altered surfaces or tooling is not noted in the description.

If you do not send the coin to NGC, Miller Ancients will consider and likely grant a refund, but asks that you make an effort to provide a professional opinion regarding the item's authenticity. If the coin has not been graded and lacks a professional opinion, Miller Ancients will decide the eligibility of returns on a case-by-case basis.

Only the individual who purchased the coin from Miller Ancients is eligible to receive a refund, but this guarantee is for life to the buyer. Miller Ancients must physically receive the coin before the refund is issued. The full amount of your purchase, including any shipping costs or payment fees, will be refunded within 7 days of Miller Ancients' receiving the coin.

Non-Authenticity Related Returns

Miller Ancients will always accept returns on items for reasons other than authenticity (general dissatisfaction with the purchase, etc) within 30 days of the sale. After 30 days, all sales are final, except in cases related to the authenticity of the coin (above).

Miller Ancients will not refund shipping costs or incurred payment fees if the return is not related to authenticity.

General Return Practices

To initiate your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and that you reach out to millerancients@gmail.com to explain your reason for returning an item and plan to do so.

The buyer assumes liability for safely transporting to the coin to Miller Ancients. If the item is stolen or damaged in the shipping process, Miller Ancients is not responsible. If the item is damaged in any way by the buyer or while in the buyer's possession, that may affect the amount of the refund or the viability of the entire refund altogether. We encourage you to ship items with proper insurance and tracking information.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and that it is in adequate condition (as purchased). We will also notify you of the approval of your refund.

If you have any issues with a return or refund, please contact millerancients@gmail.com and we will respond to you promptly.

Funds for refunds will be sent via Zelle (preferred), Venmo, or wire/bank transfer. The buyer is not responsible for payment fees if the refund is related to authenticity; if not, the amount of fees incurred by Miller Ancients during the initial sale will be deducted from the refund amount sent.
